Largest cryptocurrencies mixed as Polkadot falls

The largest cryptocurrencies were mixed during morning trading on Thursday, with Uniswap UNIUSD, -1.66% seeing the biggest move, rising 8.90% to $17.27.

Polkadot DOTUSD, -2.44% led the decreases with a 2.60% drop to $27.35.

Three other cryptocurrencies saw increases Thursday. Cardano ADAUSD, -0.39% rallied 1.37% to $1.36, and Ripple XRPUSD, -0.02% climbed 0.98% to 97 cents.

Dogecoin DOGEUSD, -2.19%, which saw the smallest increase, climbed 0.42% to 18 cents.

In addition to Polkadot, four other currencies posted drops. Ethereum ETHUSD, -0.31% fell 1.88% to $3,940.20, and Bitcoin BTCUSD, +0.02% slipped 0.97% to $48,607.87.

Litecoin LTCUSD, +0.23% and Bitcoin Cash BCHUSD, -0.31% also recorded declines, falling 0.33% to $156.48 and 0.28% to $440.96, respectively.

In crypto-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. COIN, +5.34% climbed 0.72% to $256.39, while MicroStrategy Inc. MSTR, +4.78% fell 1.05% to $564.02. Riot Blockchain Inc. RIOT, +8.68% shares declined 1.21% to $23.34, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. MARA, +11.72% fell 2.09% to $33.42.

Overstock.com Inc. OSTK, +1.42% sank 0.50% to $61.66, while Block Inc. SQ, +0.20% slipped 0.65% to $166.29 and Tesla Inc. TSLA, +5.76% sank 0.06% to $1,008.28.

PayPal Holdings Inc. PYPL, +0.17% slipped 0.04% to $191.60, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. Cl A EBON, +5.31% shares dropped 2.64% to $1.10. NVIDIA Corp. NVDA, +0.82% climbed 0.78% to $296.30, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD, +1.57% rose 0.04% to $145.79.

In the fund space, blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF BLOK, +3.93% inched down 0.11% to $46.47. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF BITQ, +6.01%, which is focused on pure-play crypto companies, slipped 0.57% to $22.18. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust GBTC, +5.77%, which tracks the Bitcoin market price, sank 0.95% to $36.65.
