Bonterra hits 57 g/t gold over 0.5 metre at Gladiator

Other notable intersections include the following:

  • Main zone: 4.9 g/t gold over 2.6 metres in hole BA-20-33;
  • Footwall zone: 3.6 g/t gold over 7.0 m, including 20.5 g/t over 1.2 metre in hole BA-21-07;
  • North Dipper: 26.4 g/t gold over 0.6 metre in hole BA-21-13; and
  • North Dipper: 4.3 g/t gold over 9.4 metres including 25.2 g/t over 1 metre in hole BA-21-16.

The Gladiator resource estimate was updated in June, and it contains a measured and indicated portion of 1.4 million tonnes grading 8.61 g/t gold (391,000 contained oz. gold). There is also an inferred resource of 4.2 million tonnes grading 7.37 g/t gold (989,000 contained oz. gold).

Bonterra has two other advanced gold exploration projects about 50 km to the north at Desmaraisville, Que. Both the Barry and Moroy projects are close to the former Bachelor gold mill which is being upgraded with the addition of a SAG mill, ball mill, thickener, and nine new leach tanks. Capacity will be tripled to 2,400 tonnes/day.
