GameStop Corp. said Monday it plans to hire 500 employees at its new customer service center in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The leased facility is expected to operational as part of videogame retailer’s customer care operations by the end of the year. The stock fell 2.5% in premarket trading. the stock has slipped 4.1% over the past three months through Friday, but has rocketed 988.0% year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 6.4% the past three months and rallied 18.0% so far this year.
